The Dr. Larry Hentsch Counselor Support award is for a an individual or group whose work, support, or contribution helped advance the goals and further the mission of the school-counseling program. Nominees need not be a member of the SCSCA and could include the following: volunteers, teachers, coaches, secretaries, principals, administrators, alumni, students, college personnel, agency personnel, business/industry professionals, clergy, public servants, community members, or court officials.
The SCSCA Counselor of the Year Award is available so that a School Counselor can be recognized for his/her contributions to and advancement of the profession of school guidance and counseling.
